I'm looking for some good old fashioned romances fics... think mills and boon meet spuffy... I don't mind if there's lots of angst (angst is always good in my book) and conflict but the one thing it needs is a happy ending or a least a happyish ending

Doesn't that describe about 85% of all of the spuffy fics out there? What would make a spuffy fic more 'mills and boone' than most other spuffy fics out there? In the all human fantasy genre in particular? From how I'm reading this, I could filll this thread up with a thousand recs -- it's such a general description of most fics.

Well, based on my understanding of what is being asked and since it, to me, seems to apply to almost everything in this genre, I can recommend some AH authors whom I have come to trust to tell a good tale well.

As a general rule, when you go to these authors for all human fics you're probably going to be happy there. This is by no means an exhaustive list since it's off the top of my head. I hope this helps.
