I'm looking for any fics that gives good reasoning why Buffy dated Riley. I mean they did stay together for some time but I cannot really see the why. Buffy did not really love him, at least I don't believe she did. Riley does not have to be nice.
It should also have a happy ending, with Buffy and Spike being together, not into really angsty fics. If the fic is complete that would be even better.
