I agree with you Guest, the ending of this story is very traumatic, not at all like the movie. It should be approached and read with extreme caution.

I wouldn't consider this a true representation of a Spuffy P & P story just because the ending so totally different from the original novel. I feel like the author actually sets up and betrays her readers knowing that they will expect a certain ending simply because it is in other respects superficially similar to a P & P style story. Steer clear.

I could not agree with you more. I wish I had been lucky enough to have received a warning about this one. All of RWP's other fics are wonderful though.
