Are there any fics, in wich Riley doesn´t loose it, when he starts to realize Spike is after Buffy.
I thought perhaps he even realize Buffy feels something for Spike though she still is denail and encourages her to do what makes her happy.
He is so often the villian or sore looser, instead of the decent, nice guy he started out as and he loved Buffy.
He doesen´t have to play Cupid, just not be such an arse...
