I was just looking at James' facebook for the first time and saw all of the convention photos (I've never been to one so I was surprised-not in a bad way-to see all of the different poses..and somewhat jealous) Just wondering if there are any fics about comic cons or anything!

I know, there are so many different poses. My pictures are pretty boring in comparison, I'm actually going to be seeing James again next weekend. All excited to finally get a picture of him and Nick Brendon together because while I am Spuffy at heart, there's a little part of me that ships Spander

I also recommend Love Me for Me, even though it's not complete, it's a great read. There is another story I'm thinking of that fits what you're looking for, but I can't for the life of me remember the author or title. Hopefully someone else comes through.

Yes, that's the one I was referring to. Thanks, I've been meaning to read it again. I just wish these stories were completed, but it's probably not likely to happen.

That's also the theme of one of Brian Lynch's IDW comics called Boys and their Toys. Angel and Spike go to the San Diego Comic Con. It is set around a movie made about Angel saving LA. Angel is played by Nicolas Cage and Spike is a woman. Demons invade the con. Hilarious.

I want to read these stories that are WIP but I hate when one ends on a cliff hanger.

Do any of these actually stop at a good place?

Acting the Part is 32 chapters long and is wonderful and adorably sweet!! I can't say enough good things about the story itself. That said, it ends smack dab in the middle of the story, and nothing gets wrapped up neatly.

What's there is good enough that I've re-read it multiple times, but it will definitely leave you frustrated at the end because you want the story to be finished so badly.

Love Me For Me is 47 chapters long and well worth the read, even though it's unfinished. There is enough there that you don't feel like it ended too early, and all of the couples are in good places by the end. There are a few plot lines that are just getting started, but the cliffhangers won't leave you quite so frustrated because at least the relationships are wrapped up nicely.

Hopefully that's not too much of a spoiler.
