I've been rewatching Season 7 and enjoying all the Spuffy moments, but also feeling extremely frustrated at Buffy's emotional cowardice, despite her obvious feelings for Spike, and wishing at many points that she would just *tell him*, already. I would appreciate some recs of fics which rewrite this entire Season to give it more of a Spuffy focus (if there is such a fic). Failing that, rewrites of individual episodes (set any time during this season) to make them more Spuffy would also be welcome. If neither can be found, I'd happily read any Spuffy fics starring Buffy with a souled Spike. I've discovered I really like soulful Spike.

You can go to the Elysian Fields archive, which is a Spuffy archive, and check out the Season 7 fics in their Category section. You should find hundreds of episode rewrites and might even be able to find a complete rewrite of that season.

Thank you! I didn't know they had their fics arranged by season on that archive. But are there any that are particularly good? (I don't really have a lot of time to read dozens of fics).

I've written three Spuffy fics which take place during season 7: Girls' Night Out, Shower Interruptus and Shower Interruptus 2. All NC-17, of course

In the annals of Spuffy Fanfiction history I think Nan Dibble can be credited as having written the book(s) - I punned - on season seven re-writes. Starting at Showtime with Old Blood. It's very Spike and Dawn centric and Nan loves those saintly aspects of Spike. It's worth reading to see where so much "fanon" comes from.

also TheDeadlyHook has started a complete rewrite of S7 on her journal but it's barely begun. You can never tell where that will go, but Spuffy is an odds on bet. She's a fine writer who loves all the characters.
