Spuffy visit Hank in LA

Another fiction I can't seem to locate. There is a fic where Buffy goes to LA to visit her dad Hank. I think he's engaged or re-married. Spike comes along with her. There's a specific scene I recall where they're waiting for the car outside the restaurant and Angel, who has been stalking them per usual, confronts them (or just Spike) as to what's going on. In the midst of the conversation, they are attacked by a demon(s) and try to drag the fight away from the front of the restaurant before Hank sees it. Does anyone recall this scene? I'm not sure if the fic was during the series or post-Chosen.

PS: I thought it might be City of Angels by bittenandstaked, but this specific scene wasn't there.
