After he gets his soul, Spike recoops in England at Giles' home with Willow

This fiction starts off between S6 & S7. After Spike gets his soul, he arrives at Gile's doorstep in England to recover. When he comes back to Sunnydale, it is with Giles and Willow, since Willow has been in England to get control of her magic. The two of them have formed a strong friendship, as both were trying to recover/come to terms with their evil actions. She calls him Will, short for William, cause he's not comfortable to be called Spike, which causes some confusion especially when they relay stories of Engalnd since Willow's called that as well. Spike never has his crazy episodes, but he's different from who he was; he's more reserved, at least toward Buffy. I believe Buffy gets jealous of Spike and Willow's friendship. I hope someone recognizes this fiction and author. Thank you in advance.

Most of this sounds like Holly's Sang et Ivoire. Willow doesn't stay with them, but they have the same relationship when Spike gets back.

Thanks for your response.

I began scanning the first few chapters to check. I don't think this is the one though. Sang et Ivoire has Spike running into Giles at a cafe in London and reluctant to work with Spike. The one I am trying to remember has Spike literally arriving at Giles' front door at his home, I think in Bath, and Giles can tell right away that Spike's had a major change and invites him in to stay. Also, I notice in the warnings of Sang et Ivoire there is Vampire!Buffy, but in the story I'm searching for I don't recall such an event.

But I'm still going to read Holly's fiction as it does sound entertaining and I've enjoyed other stories by her. So thanks again.

Now it's bugging me big time. I know this fic. For some reason I'm thinking it was a Shoshanna fic, but I don't know where to find hers anymore. Maybe at SA?

Thanks, but that's not the one; it wasn't a series of short fics. Plus I would have remembered if Wesley was there and mention of the World Cup. But the author Lesley looks to be good (love the coat of arms for the header page of the series).
