AH Buffy under protection from cops Xander and Spike

I read this many years ago. If I recall correctly Buffy is placed under protection of Xander and Spike who are partners and the one I read wasn't finished. I remember they were in a safe house in a neighborhood with a fenced in pool. I don't remember why Buffy was under protection though, maybe it had to do with her family in danger....

Could be Guarding Elizabeth by Annastasia.
