Spike's an author, Buffy's a photog. He wrote a book about his time with her

I think I have the details of this story pretty right. Buffy is a photographer sent to photograph famous author Spike. His dad is Rupert and step-mom is Anya. They own a bookstore w/ a tea shop attached (or something like that). Anyway, Buffy goes to meet him and they reconnect. Joyce is a fan of Spike's book and eventually figures out that Buffy is the girl in his best seller.

You're looking for Take a Chance by Witchiepoo. It's been a perpetual WIP for a couple of years now, much to my dismay. You can find it on Elysian Fields. I would have loved for her to have finished it. It is an amazing story
