I'm looking for any AH fics where Buffy is the one that's in love with/crushing on Spike. I just seem to read ones where it's Spike that's chasing Buffy and it'll be nice for a change if it's the other way around. I've read Vanilla's Smile and that's the type I'm looking for. Doesn't matter about rating or setting, anything from teens in HS to OAPs in a nursing home I'll be happy with lol.

I feel like I've read all the ones that are around these days so if there are any from the days of old you can recommend, I'll be your friend for life lol.

You said unrequited - most of these wind up requited at some point, otherwise they wouldn't be too spuffy in the end. I hope that's what you were looking for: unrequited crush/love that eventually - but not right away, if ever - becomes requited.

Unrequited by kantarya is a short, but awesome fic! However, Buffy's crush is never requited.

The Enemy Of Reality: Ooh, I've never read the squawks one, thank you hon! I've read Unrequited before and My Brother's Best Friend is one of my fav ever AH fics. I just wish it was longer but gah, so perfect. Thank you

As far as 'ending in a good place', most I don't recall, but It's Okay I'm With the Band leaves at a logical place but it is a cliffhanger also. I still think the story is worth the read but Buffy and Spike never get 'together' in it where it leaves off. They remain at odds with Buffy secretly longing for him and him still pretty much annoyed by her presence. It's one of my favorites still, though. You'll have to decide whether you can deal with it or not.

I moved Just Friends by Nicky to WIP post because I can't find a completed copy anywhere so my initial statement that it was finished was incorrect. Sorry about that. I want to be annoyed by all the incompleted WIPS out there but then I recall that my own story is not finished and so....there you go. Sigh.
