Season 2 or 3, Spike in denial about wanting to kill Buffy

The fic was set in either season 2 or 3. The only scene I remember is Spike waking Buffy up in the middle of the night to issue a death threat. Buffy does not want to fight in front of her house, so ends up walking with Spike to the high school where she basically calls his bluff and forces him to admit that he doesn't want to kill her
