B and S starting out as friends

I'm looking for fics, set preferably in Seas 4/5/beginning of 6, where their relationship starts as mutual respect/friendship, where Buffy for some reason sees the potential in Spike of becoming someone good or just gives him the benefit of the doubt.

I know there are quite a lot of fics like this BUT I'd like it to be as much In Character as possible and also for the relationship to really grow from friendship and respect, not the abused "can't resist Spike's animal attraction" plot device that is often the main reason for Buffy in fics to start seeing Spike as something more.

You may like Easy Way Out by Capella42, it is a WIP, but they start out more as friends and it grows into respect and then more. Starts at the end of Season 5 and the fight with Glory.

Summary: Some summer fun to cure winter blues. After Buffy suffered a nasty knee injury on the job, her friends think it would be nice to pay for her to take a little vacation. The problem is, all of her friends are too busy to go with her, except Spike. But what would a vampire do in sunny Maui for two weeks? Heat things up, what else.
