I was looking for fic recommendations where Spike goes to find/save Buffy in some way. Preferably with the Scoobies being distrustful of his ability/his feelings (like Writing on the Wall by Holly or Harbingers of Beatrice by Holly). Either within the verse or in an alternative dimension.

He tells Giles and the others that he is taking her away for the week for a romantic getaway so they won't be suspicious. He didn't take Spike into consideration. Spike must convince the others that Riley means Buffy harm and when they don't believe him, he goes to the only other person that might help him: His Grand-Sire-Angel.

Will the peroxide vampire be able to find her before it's too late? What has happened to the Scoobies and will they save Xander before he really becomes Dracula's butt monkey?

These sound perfect and I haven't come across any of them before.

I should have said that I was looking for completed fics because otherwise, when I get to the end my heart dips low because I just want more, ha! I appreciate the suggestions though and both are authors I haven't come across yet so I will definitely have a look through their stuff.

Brave New World is complete. It may say it is not, but it most definitely is complete.

Ooo, good stuff. Do you have a link to a completed one? I have found a couple of versions and they have different word counts and scooting to the last line, on the surface don't look finished.

Does it end with Chapter 59? I don't see it anywhere beyond that chapter but I've only seen it on TSR and Bloodshedverse. Is there some reason to believe it is complete of which I am unaware? I really want to know because I have it down as still awaiting chapter sixty to post for a while now and I'd like to change that if it is indeed done. Thanks.
