Buffy is disabled or hurt very badly?

It's not Abled by PassionFish, it's a one-shot I'm pretty sure, I think I read it on an LJ. It's SUPER well written.

Buffy gets really hurt, I THINK she is paralysed or she loses her arm, not quite sure... It could have had to do with that season 9 thing, where her arm is sliced off. Spike is sitting with her, trying to talk to her, and she's just so hateful and her internal dialogue (although brilliant) is really cold.

Anyone know what I'm thinking of? Thanks in advance guys

It could be a piece of Herself's Bittersweet series, found on lj. It's made up of a few stories and one of them features such a Buffy. I'm always hesitant to give too much info in concern for those who might read this and haven't read the fic in question, so maybe if one of the mods pops in they'll let me know how to handle such spoilers (thanks!).

Either way, I can't link (sorry!), but googling shouldn't be a big deal and I'd give that a look.

Yeah, the first fic I thought of was Herself's but it's a different limb and it's not a one shot (although it is contained in one page on her website so I could see someone thinking of it as a one-shot.) I honestly don't believe this is the fic the requester is asking for but I will link to it here just in case. I do highly recommend reading the entire Bittersweets Series in order though.
