Alternate Dimension/Time Travel

I'm looking for a post NFA fic where Buffy and Spike go back to season two, but the time travel alters the stream, making a new dimension. In the story, Giles locks Spike up in the Library cage and Spike proves its future him to future Buffy by saying "No you don't. But thanks for saying it." Young Buffy gets injured and ends up with scar on her arm.

Has aspects of slaymesoftly's series that begins with "Prologue to Life/ I know you". It's here at TSR. It begins after NFA, there is alternate dimension and time travel.

It's got most of the components you've mentioned but jumbled.

Yeah, I remember that one and it's not it either.

So, I think I was wrong on Post NFA. I think Spike was with Angel in LA and gets sent back to Season 2. And Buffy gets sent back by her group. Then they meet and shenanigans ensue and the two get hot and heavy on the balcony at the Bronze--but don't actually have go all the way. Then, after the day is saved--and young Buffy has a scar on her arm that does NOT appear on older Buffy's arm (hence they can tell it is a different dimension) Spike and Buffy have a conversation about if they could change the past, would they and what would they tell the younger Scoobies because Angelus had yet to lose his soul or kill Jenny. Giles overhears part of it and is not happy with them.
Then they each go back to their own places--Spike to LA and Buffy to the Scoobs. Kind of an unsatisfying ending, but there you go....
