This was a WIP fic that I read once where Spike was, at the start in a really serious relationship (I think she may have been called Raven??) and they were considering claiming. He is contacted and discovers that Buffy has become a rogue slayer/bounty hunter after being part sired by Dru or something like that. He goes along and ends up breaking up with his girlfriend even though Buffy is rejecting him and sleeping with the team leader of the bounty group.
I think all of those are from the same fic, unless I'm getting well mixed up!!!! I am wanting to try and track down whether it has or is going to be completed but I can't remember what it was called or who wrote it, kind of a hindrance!!
