The first one, however, sounds like this story I read a long time ago where Sunnydale might have changed? Evil demons like shadows were doing the killing. Buffy found Spike but he wasn't the same. Might have been with Clem and his wife? Clem's son was missing and Buffy and Spike manage to go out and find him? The had to fight these evil shadow's from taking over. POST CHOSEN!
But this might be a completely different story I'm thinking of. I know I might have read that one on Bloodshedverse. Not too sure of the name or author of the one I'm remembering. It was finished.
Interested to know about the first story you are looking for because I don't think I read anything like that--about a demon trying to open a hellmouth to go home. The only one I know of like that, and darn I forget the name, but it's easy to find, is a Buffy wakes up like 50 or so years later to a different world. I think it was a 100 years later and Giles was a vampire. I know in that one a demon wanted to go home with his girls. I read that one on EF.
EDIT: Why this didn't edit I don't know but this 2nd one that I was guessing was Trish's on EF Afterwards and Satelitte Series (spelled exactly like that if you are searching for it)
