I'm not entirely sure why I'm doing this to myself, but I'm really in the mood for Spuffy stories with tragic endings where either or both of them die or they simply don't end up together.

I've read all of Cousinjean's stories, as well as those of Annie Sewell-Jennings and Herself. And Dreamtime by Anniepants and Normal Again by Richard Bachman (I cannot rec these enough!). AUs, AHs and basically all genres are welcome!

(I also read a very painful story where Buffy was pregnant with Dawn and Spike sacrificed himself to allow her to give birth. I can't for the life of me remember what it was though).

This story is really good and I hate the ending. It's what you are looking for though.
