I know that story it's great, I was wondering if there are other stories where the background folk play hero.

Is it tooting my own horn to say my new one Shame on You has them playing a major role in stopping an apocalypse.

There was one where Glory bespells Giles, Willow, and Xander. Somehow Spike, Buffy, Tara, Dawn and Anya escape and set up a second front fight with other demons based in a cave. Joyce & Dawn end up in Los Angelus for her medical treatment, but they have to bring Dawn back once they get everything situated, in order to defeat Glory.

It is a well written fic, but for the life of me, I cannot recall the name of the author or the title. Grrr Arrgh!

Yes, that's it. Thank you!!! And duh, I'm blushing. ginar369 had mentioned that very work just before my silly comment. I've had a wonderful time re-reading Shame on You. An awesome fic with a unique reblending of elements and shuffling of character's. I will not be forgetting ginar369 or the name of this one again. It's on my yearly re-read list!
