I just read a short oneshot on Tumblr where Spike (human) meets Slayer Buffy, and it's implied at the end that he'll become one of the gang. So I really really want to read fics which do explore this premise: Spike as a Scooby, with Buffy still being the Slayer. It boggles my mind that I haven't read anything like that yet. AU, obviously.
