Original Characters

Looking for well-written possibly mid-long or very long fics. I did a search already to see if this was ever asked, but only specific characters were asked about. I just recently read Coming Through by hulettwyo and I loved quite a few original characters in this story! I also read Night Child also by hulettwyo Just to give an idea.

If this has been looked for I really couldn't find it! So any would be great! Thanks!

What exactly are you looking for? Many fics have original characters in minor roles but if you're looking for OC in major roles that are still actually spuffy that is a rarer thing. Chelle writes some OC fics that are very good although I don't recall if those are spuffy or not.

Just really good fics with a well-written original character. The original characters are still minor to Spuffy. I'm actually doing this search on Elysian now and I came up with some results so far.

I guess another way of singling out is award winning original characters? I'm finding quite a bit so far on EF. You have to do an advanced search and choose original characters to get anything. I could do that here I think? I haven't checked yet.

OC isn't or doesn't have to be with Spike or Buffy...they can be major, but minor to Spuffy. I know dreamweaver has a lot!

Speedway is one where Mark (a lovely written original character) has a pretty equal part to the Spuffy goodness that goes on and his romantic relationship with another Scooby is written amazingly, I find at least. These are some of my favourite stories only because of the original characters. Hopefully you enjoy them!!

Lost in Time by Spikeskat has several original characters in it that play some of the best roles in a fic I've read. It is also one of the best epic Spuffy fictions and can be found at her site or the bloodshedverse.

If it's Tuesday, this must be Sunnydale by Miss Murchison [Teens]

This is set in the same silly 'verse as Cubed and What's in a Name, both written for the Seasonal_Spuffy community on Live Journal. This is a version of S6 that is so AU it's nearly angst-free. Buffy either didn't die at the end of S5 or was happy to come back. Everyone gets along, more or less, at least until someone gets a really nifty notion.
It can be read as a standalone, especially as none of the characters seem to have learned much from what happened in the other two fics.
