Anya watches with Dawn

I read a fic once where Buffy and Spike were, I think, in an alternate dimension and Anya created a way to view what they were doing through a bowl of water or some such. I think Dawn was with her and they may have tried to speak/contact through it at one point. Any ideas? Thanks.

I'm not sure of the specific fiction title, but that sounds like Slaymesoftly's I Know You series, which can all be found on this site.
