I don't remember much about the plot, but for some reason Buffy and Spike were sharing a hotel room at the Council of Watcher's expense (I think in England) and it turned out the Council was spiking or bespelling the blood bags kept in the fridge of the hotel suite or room for Spike in order to... Well, it had to do with Buffy and Spike having s*x, but I can't remember if it was an aphrodisiac or something to make them more open to each other, or if it was meant to make Spike able to get the Slayer pregnant, but I'm pretty sure pregnancy was involved.

I don't remember if the council was evil in this fic, but they were definitely manipulative, and it might have had to do with some prophecy where they thought Buffy getting pregnant by Spike was necessary.

I was thinking that too but when I looked at it they were not giving him blood but making him take it from Buffy.

I thought it could be 'Dreams and Nightmares' by Abbyland but that had the council locking Buffy Angel and Spike in a house and dosing them with gas that made the vampires feral and had aphrodisiac effects on the vampires only in order to get her pregnant. (great story and a spuffy one despite Angel's strong appearnance in it.) In case anyone wants to lok at it it is here:

As for the story requested, if anyone finds it I would love to read it.

To clarify, Spike and Buffy weren't captured and forced into anything--that's why the Council switched out Spike's blood from his hotel room, while he and Buffy thought they were making their own decisions and not realizing what was in store. I think there may have been a big bad Spike and Buffy were after that distracted them from their relationship, so this scene might have been halfway through a long fic and after some battles, not the whole story in itself.

Someone mentioned to me that they recognize the fic, but can't remember the title. Instead of a hotel room, however, they think Buffy and Spike have been called to England and are staying in one of the Council buildings, and Willow is there too.
