My Originsverse has Spike as an active participant while Buffy's giving birth, but it takes a very long while to get there, since it doesn't happen until Resolutions. The series is here, and on EF, the BSV, and AO3.

Demon Seed by BuffyMeetsSpike. Complete and available at Bloodshedverse. WARNING! It is heartbreaking and a bit dark, but another very worthwhile read.
