Looking for old spuffy fic. I believe it was on carnal-sins. Maybe by Isabelle? Don't remember title

I don't remember the title, but I do remember some basic plot points. I am almost positive it was written by an author named Isabelle

Spike left town or something and comes back many years later and Buffy doesn't remember him. (could be the other way around) A lot of it is fuzzy but I remember it was Nc17. The beginning they make a point about Spike having ice blue eyes and Buffy's green ones. I believe that is integral to the plot for the reason Spike remembers her or something?

There was a bit about him trying to get her to remember him. I think he chains her up because she tried to kill him because he was a vampire, and once he realizes thats Buffy (I think she tells him?) she doesn't remember who he is and wants to kill him on the soul fact he is a vampire and so he chains her up to keep her from doing this, as well as try and job her memory.

I don't remember much after that but I know towards the end Willow was the villain, and she was trying to kill Buffy or something, very ala Dark willow esq with magic and stuff.

This fic was probably written around maybe 2003 or 2004 - I know it's older but I don't remember exact dates.

Anything you have would be helpful.

But it might not be all bad since it allowed Spike to find out a very disturbing thing. Seems like the bets are on in the demon world about who will have the honor of taking the Slayer down

Nope. This fic was before the end of the series. I believe its post season 6 but season 7 hadn't aired yet. Spike didn't have a soul.

It opens up with Spike coming into town for the first time in years and he notes that he hadn't been there in practically forever and things look like they have changed. The more I try to remember the more comes back to me.

in addition to what I posted, the reason Buffy couldn't remember Spike was due to a spell Willow had cast on her.

Willow is the Antagonist in this fiction but we don't find that out until Buffy's memory comes back thanks to Spike. The two of them meet when she openly attacks him and he doesn't realize its her until part way through the fight. Eventually he gets the upper hand and knocks her out and chains her up/cages her when she attacks him for being a vampire, and he wonders why the hell she doesn't remember him.

This spell that willow cast on her made her not remember much of anything aside from her name and that she is a vampire slayer and thus she slays vampires.

This fic is kinda dark. Not in plot too much but Sunnydale is all run down and stuff. Buffy kills any vamp she sees.

OMG thank you!! It's been YEARS since I read the fic. I think I remembered Isabelle because she was the one who hosted Carnal-Sins way back and that was where I originally found and read the fic.

I skimmed chap 1 and then went to chap 7 and it rings bells, so yes thats defiantly the one!
