Looking for any kind of fic where Spikes demon wants Buffy . Bonus if Spike tries to fight it.

Doesn't that describe almost all Spuffy fics? Not sure I understand. .. want to CHANGE her, you mean?

Um... in Just in Summer Romance (sequel to Are We Friends) the demon claims Buffy the first time they have sex (in the prequel). Spike doesn't really fight it, but he knows she doesn't want it and eventually he stays away from her long enough for it to fade away. Not sure if that's the kind of thing you're looking for or not.

I have a lot of fics where the demon wants Buffy, or at least Spike blames his behavior on the demon. lol It's not really the focus of most of the stories, though, just something that gets mentioned from time to time. I think Still Bluer is the only one where the demon takes over briefly and bites her.



ETA: Ah, just saw the above comment. Is that what you meant? That his demon wants to turn Buffy? None of mine are like that. The demon often wants to claim her, but he doesn't want to turn her.

Oh no I meant the demon is attracted to her? I just read In Omne Tempus by Holly and it was AMAZING. It wa really good only but I always loved in the show and in a lot of fic's I've read how confused and so against wanting Buffy Spike always is.

No i was going with what you write about. I kinda have a huge fic crush on you! I love all your stories you really are fantastic. In fact I just have one class left this week and then spring break (the one good thing about having a bad back and having to go for injections / two classes a week is getting off a week before everyone at school does!) and while I'm recovering from aforementioned injections I was going to load myself with fic. Anyway a lot of the fic I've set aside is yours! You and Holly its like you know how to write just for me sometimes. Very few writers have ever made me make real squee noises out loud. So any recs of your stuff would be FANTASTIC

There are probably loads that reference Spike's demon wanting to claim Buffy or it feeling connected to her in some way. A couple that spring to mind...

I think it is Spike's demon that wants to claim Buffy in Wheels of Fire by greyangel, which is an outstanding fic but not available online (if you don't have it but would like to read it I can email you a copy if you pm me).

There is reference to Spike dealing with his demon on and off in A Gem of a Soul by spuffy luvr, but that is basically representative of his darker desires/urges. Again an amazing fic though (but pretty angst driven in places).

Spike's demon seems to want to protect/connect with Buffy straight away in Overcome by KittenofDoomage but it isn't a constant specific feature within the fic I don't think.

In the following I would say that Spike's demon plays a specific role...

In Dreams and Nightmares by Abbyland Spike's demon is brought out but behaves protectively towards Buffy although behaving very feral, it is put in direct contrast to Angel's. (if the link to adultfanfic.net doesn't work because of the sign in process it is in BtVS AU/AR > threesomes/moresomes - if you don't normally read those it isn't a consensual situation but an induced one so it isn't the 'romance' aspect of the fic that fits that genre setting).

Taste of Juliet by Peta has Spike reduced to his feral state at one point and has a possessive/mate connection with Buffy.

Two Sides of the Same Coin by Behind Blue Eyes has the Toth split Spike and William so Buffy is dealing with the demon separately which obviously feels a connection with her.
