I prefer to read stories about Vamp!Buffy when she keeps her soul. This idea is more according to her status as Slayer - Chosen One - a special person. Thus, IMO, vamp! Buffy would be a special vampire.

I'm not a big fan of vamp Buffy, so haven't written very many. "A Mother's Plea" and its sequel "Born to be Your Baby" are vamp Buffy Spuffy. And "It's Over" is a dark season 7 that probably should have a warning for lack of happy ending - but it's Spuffy up to that point...

I will be honest I have tore thru this site in like a month the vamp!buffy is my most recent interest. You know how it is you read one and then you gotta read another.

I don't have the link for it but CordyKittens live journal has a page with the best list of vamp buffy fics I've come across. I'm a huge vamp buffy fan and that page has been a god send for me.

There are a lot I could list but aside from some already mentioned (I really like A Mother's Plea and sequel) these are probably the better ones of those I know of...
