I will probably be on here like all weekend because I'm celebrating finishing my HARD English finale. I have vodka, sugary snacks, melted cheese on bread (pizza). Now all I need are a ton of fics! So I'm really sorry if I make several fic requests. I read really fast and since I found out my sleeping ills cause nightmares my doctor is trying to get me to cut back on my dosage which = no sleep and insane amounts of time online.

So I wanted to know if anyone knew o any fics where Spike and Buy have to be together or have to pretend to be a couple? I remember reading an AH where Buffy married him so he could get a green card and he paid her. Something like that would be cool but anything where they clearly do not want to be together at first and are forced to spend time together would be great. I love watching those crazy kids realize how great they are together.

Also no rape fics. I have a big thing against rape and it triggers me. I have been so upset at times I can't even ship anything in s7. If there is a really great fic that deals with it in a, not super intense graphic way I guess it would be ok. just mention it in the description? and link as much as you can please? I've found some amazing fics on here that i cannot for the life of me find because they have no links and I couldn't find them on here, the bloodshedverse, or EF.

99% of the time I simply copy the 'name of the story by author' as given and google it and find where it is immediately. I don't even look in the various archives any more - just google it and it appears almost every time. So if no link is given, do that and you'll probably find the fic you are seeking.

Also we have many many many pages of FIC RECs backed up on the forum to browse through where you can find hundreds of stories, some probably exactly the kind you are now seeking. I recall earlier recs for these. So try the previous Fic Recs pages also.

It seems like we keep recommending the same stories over and over again so I mention the prior fic rec threads. In fact you'll probably find more variety from three years back because there were more old timers responding to requests a few years ago than there are hanging out here currently. Personally I can't think of anything I haven't already rec'd several times over so I don't have anything new to offer on your request.

Anyway, that's my two cents on how to pull up some stories for your weekend. I hope you feel better and more rested soon.

When the two sides finally reach the point where negotiation is better than annihilation, a truce is called and a treaty negotiated on the planet currently under dispute. The peace treaty is cemented symbolically by the joining in marriage of the two youngest soldiers present, thereby throwing Buffy and Spike into a relationship that they really, really, don't want. Although not a traditional Vampire versus Slayer scenario, it is close enough to be familiar.




Influence of Demons by gabrielleabelle

Summary: Goes AU after S5's Checkpoint. Five years ago, Buffy and Spike fell into a portal to a dimension ruled by demons. Finally, reunited, their goal is to get back home. However, the years in this dimension have changed them. Spike's long isolation keeps him distant, and Buffy's enforced life at a brothel has caused her to forget the Slayer she used to be. Somehow, they'll have to find themselves again to defeat a powerful enemy and make it home.

Another very nontraditional answer to your request - take it as it is, if you think it works for you great, if not no harm done. I really love this story too.
