I'm looking for fics where Spike is an elf or a fairy or a wizard or any magical creature other than a vampire

I'm pretty sure there's already a Fic Rec thread for this. Did you go back and see if that section has some recs for you? There aren't many fics that fit this criteria but I believe they were listed in that prior thread.

Spike has some magical ability and is a ghost in The Demon Within by Pegasus (AU human fic though Buffy isn't a slayer). It is the only one I know like that and isn't in this old fic rec thread.

I would say though that I found the end rushed and disappointing but it kind of fits what you were looking for.

Spike uses a little bit of magic in this story later on, and it's one of my favorites, so...

A Different World by Ms. Perception

Kinda AU. At the end of the world, a vampire with a soul made a wish that those he loved would have a better life. This is story of that life and all the ups and downs in the lives of the new Scoobies.

Making my way through a very long, but very engaging Spuffy fic by Miss Murchinson called Chiaroscuro Series. Spike starts out a vamp but things change.... I can not link. Still under 10 posts.
