I don't know if this would fit the bill for you, he is 'rich' enough to have a servant but is pretty recluse. Buffy is human in this fic. It is unusual but one of my favourites.

I was hoping for something along the lines of Spike's Will be Done by TalesofSpike ,Spike having old money in a bank ,or old inheritance but thanks for the recs
