Hey all
I am looking for fics where our fave couple are being forced into marriage, (something like An Inconvenient Marriage that has recently been updated). It can be human or super natural, and i don't really care as to why they are getting married, as long as it's a happy ending and preferably a finished story or an unfinished one that is still being updated regularly

Sometime after Something Blue, in an increasingly AU Sunnydale, it's becoming clear that Spike just hiding out in a crypt or a basement isn't enough. The Scoobies still need Spike, and the Initiative's plans are bigger, and longer term, than in canon. Drastic action is required. Buffy steps up to the... altar? What happens after that changes the face of the Buffyverse. There's frivolity and angst in varying quantities as we see what this one 'simple' change has meant.

Elizabeth Summers is a stubborn young girl who is constantly protesting against the lifestyle that her wealthy family expects of her. When both characters' parents arrange them to be married, will William find his match or will Elizabeth scare him away, as she has all her other suitors? (Super smut eventually. Spike is a bad, rude man, after all!)

Not exactly marriage...but a lot of fun. I have a story where Buffy still believes that she is still engaged to a horrified Spike after the Something Blue episode.

This isn't technically a 'forced' into marriage in the traditional sense. It's one of my top favorite stories ever and in it Buffy is transported to Victorian London and must survive without resources and finally finds Spike, who is still William. Due to her dire circumstances she throws herself on William's prudish mercy and goes to live with him and his mother and they develop a relationship that way. It's very grim and very realistic and a wonderful wonderful read for it. I highly recommend it. It is part of a larger series which I hugely recommend also but it can be read on it's own.
