I love Supernatural almost (and I do say almost) as much as Buffy/Angel but one ebisode that really stuck with me was The French Mistake. Sam and Dean go to our reality and wind up on the set of the show as Jared and Jensen. I was wondering if there is a Spuffy fic were Spike and Buffy wind up on the set of Buffy as James and Sarah. Or any other characters as well. I just think that that is such a cool thing to do. Especialy do to the genre it's easy but on my oppinion clever as all else.

Ya I know that but I figured if it was done like this then it may be ok. Cuz in what I'm looking for the they would be Buffy and Spike but they would be stuck in our world on the set of BtVS in the bodies of obviously James and Sarah. In The French Mistake it has Sam and Dean interacting with the whole cast and crew and everyone knows them as Jensen and Jared. Eric Kripkt (Creator of show) even makes an appearence. I just thought it was increadably neat. But if you've ever watched the episode I'm talking about you might understand better. But do you think if I took this aproach I could get away with it? I really liked the episode something about the creators meeting there characters is really cool to me and since there doesn't appear to be a fic out there I think I could have a lot of fun writing this. Thanks.

Maybe, it depends on where you post. This site didn't used to accept those kinds of stories before, but I don't know about now. I do watch Supernatural, so I know what episode you're referring to. It was hilarious.

She took it down in April 2012 and published it as Magic at Work by Sotia Lazu and is available at Amazon.

Sotia once said that she doesn't mind if her fics are privately traded, but that she doesn't want them publicly posted. I'm not sure how that applies to the ones she's actually published.

I'd love to know if you do write this fic, though. I loved The French Mistake and feel much the same way about Supernatural as you've described.

God, years & years ago I remember stumbling across a site that I *think* (if my *old feeble memory* is anywhere near right) was all RPF (?) &/or RPS as well. Just to be sure, I beleive the 1st one is "Real Person Fic" ??? & the 2nd is "Real Person Slash", I think it was. Y'all correct me if I'm wrong. I also think on this site I'm thinking of more fics than not were m/m slash.
The one that sticks in my mind was about James as the actor plqying Spike on BtVS, who is kinda trouble for the studio & show by going on benders, bad self image, psych? probs/bipolar maybe, I think, addictions-- bppze, sex, chicks, guys a lot (cough, cough, turn your head, wink-wink, studio image to hold up, y'know), ciggies and drugs like candy--- therefore being unreliable and difficult to work with. Then he just goes AWOL one day during a week of shooting the show, not telling anyone anything. He and David B. were best friends (who was married to his real wife in the fic, the same one he cheated, for an affair w/Tiger Woods' chickie). Dave never gave up on him, still searching for him, even "in the sewers" every night he could, a lot. He finally found him in very appalling conditions--used & used up, & abused in *many* ways; he'd taken any and every drink, drug & more and totally given up, was human trash in one place in the sewers without moving from the spot the *floor* for anything at all, & others would come by to do bad things to him in those sewers neither knowing nor caring who he was. So Dave found him, after police, studio, family, friends, cast, etc wrote him off, gave up, quit looking. He found him, carried the featherweight (he'd laid down to *die*) man out in his arms, & home, and nursed him back to health basically. I'm pretty sure a stint in rehab might've been done, and that the whole thing axed Dave's marriage. And of COURSE through all this it comes out/developes that Dave & James, our RPS/RPF fic example couple are/become deeply/truly in love...
In the back of my mind I'm thinking this site was recced off another one... maybe back during "BtVS Writer's Guild" (that's not still going on is it?) ???? This wasn't the only fic on there by any means, just my intro to RPF/RPS. Sorry to ramble on 'bout this one, but figured some of ya might remember it too, and wanna visit it since the topic is re: where ya CAN post RPF. Can't you also post that so long as it's combined w/a regular show/fandom or two at "Twisting the Hellmouth"?

BTW, I've read Sweet Principale's stuff over on Ffic, and it was GREAT! Left ya wanting MORE! All her fic is wonderful as well!

I...don't remember ever saying I didn't mind people privately trading my fic--though my bad memory is infamous. I remember saying they should ask me for copies instead of asking for them offline.

That said, before I published MBwF as an original I gave people a couple months to get their Spuffy copies saved, so I won't be handing any out. I'm sorry.
