rented the same appartment!

hey guys. the only thing that i remember for sure about this fic is that spike and buffy know each other somehow and hate each other guts at first. then it turns out that they accidentally get rented the same apartment so they have to live with eachother. its quite large. i think buffy gets a promotion so she can afford it. spike might be her boss and she's his secretary or personal assistant. there could also be a hot tub on a balcony they have. the details are a little blurry.

the sad thing is the Murphy's Law isn't finished and she hasn't written on it since 2008.

I was trying to find it and looked carefully at Murphy's Law but didn't think that was it. The apartment portion of it, in the beginning, I didn't see. Did I miss that part of Murphy's Law? Is that in there? Wasn't it that they both rented the apartment and grudgingly ageed to share it and then she found out she had to work for him?

@ SMac: It was one of those too good to be true deals she simply couldn't refuse. A fully furnished, spacious, two-bedroom apartment. Add in the Jacuzzi on the balcony and she was sold. Granted she didn't need two bedrooms, but her plan was to convert the spare into a den. The previous occupant passed away from a sudden heart attack, his daughter skipped town without a word and the landlord was now desperate to get it rented. The price was higher than Buffy could afford, but she had the unbelievable luck of being offered a reduced rate on the first six months rent if she paid it up front.

Buffy rented it and so had Spike, tricked by Mr. Trick. The Landlord let them stay both, sharing it.

I stand corrected, and I'm glad. Because I was irritated that I couldn't find it otherwise. Now I can rest.

Yup, it's Murphy's law - Im_bloody_English here confirming it. sorry i'vebeen absent for so long - divorce is taking longer than anyone thought. But I'm no longer in a 'mood' over it, so I will return and finish off ML asap - roughly 3 chapters left and it's done.
