Buffy doesn't 'remember' Dawn

I read a fic based on this once which was great. Does anyone know of a fic were Buffy does not receive the memories of Dawn when the monks alter reality? Thanks

Edit: Thought I'd explain a little more. When the monks make Dawn human and insert her into reality, they stuff up (I think) and it doesn't affect Buffy's memories. She comes home from Dracula's castle and everyone remembers Dawn except her and she's really confused. I remember at one point Buffy yelled at Dawn something like, "Who are you?!?!?" and everyone else was all "WTF?" and I don't remember that much since I read in something like 2009.

I do remember something about one I read once where everybody was forgetting about Dawn & her existence, except for Spike. And he was somewhat forgetting, but kept (carving?) Dawn's name carved on his wrist/forearm to make himself remember. That fic probably isn't it, but I thought I'd toss the description as I remember it out to you. (Dawn might've been reverting to green energy? Can't remember...) And all of a sudden the author's name is almost on the tip of my tongue but I'm just not getting it this second. Sorry. If it is this by any chance, I'll be happy to help hunt it down.

The second story you mentioned is one of Nan Dibble's -- part of her epic series. I'm not sure which of the stories it is, but it's part of the Old Blood. It's a take on what might happen in season 7.

fyreburned -- Writer's block has struck again. I'm trying to finish Great Balls of Fire. . . and possibly continue Small Hours, but I'm suffering. So if anyone's got any ideas -- I'd love to hear them.

What I do when I get horrible writers block {} is look online for some kind of creative writing topic and write something short and sweet. Its not always the best because it seems forced, but it gets you writing again. Sometimes it even gives you new ideas and if you like the topic you can always come back and expand on it later. Hope this helps!
