Spike same as buffy

I read a fic long ago, buff and spike both rented the same vacation home and ended up spending some time there together. That's all i really remember, I think there was a lake scene. Not sure. Pleased help.

Theres no lake scene that I remember but they do spend a day at the beach.

For what it's worth, The Butcher is still available at dampersandspoons livejournal, but I don't know for how long since she's taking it down to try to make it an original fic. You may have to be friended with her on LJ, though. I can't tell. It's an extremely DARK story, though. So if that's not what you are looking for it's probably not this fic.
