Spike visits Angel after being dumpt

I thought there was a fic I read, season six Buffy where Buffy dumps Spike like it happened in the series. Though Spike decides to leave I think to still get his soul and seeks out Angel's help. The next part is hazy on the details, but I thought Buffy visits Angel to get help and finds out Spike has been there all along. Spike may or may not have a soul.
Angel is very protective of Spike and he is not happy with Buffy on how she treated his childe.
