Can you remember anything else? I would love to help and will gladly, but if you could narrow it down that would be helpful. I know of many like that as it is one of my favorite type of Spuffy plots.

It was like a 1 chapter story she was just a regular girl angel brings home since Darla left, and think spikes gives her some m&m, and then buffy gets free thanks to spike and then buffy meets him at the food market

I remember the story but I can't find it!

The one I'm thinking of is preseries/S1 and Buffy is in the warehouse that Angelus/Spike are in. Spike has been able to hear Buffy crying and he goes through when Angelus leaves and lets her go/gets her out of there. Buffy isn't the slayer (at that stage at least), Spike is evil but something about her connects for him or some such and that is why he wants to get her out of there. I have just spent ages looking for it and I'm not getting anywhere fast yet I'm afraid and it might not be the right one anyway!!

This story really isn't what I would call Spuffy. Spike is evil and doesn't really even help her. So this isn't Spike saving her from Angelus. I just thought I would warn you.

I really enjoyed that fic, the writing was excellent. But now I have to revisit GoldenUsagi fics and my to read/reread pile is devastatingly huuuuge!!!
