Buffy losses her hearing and can only hear Spike

I think that Buffy losses her hearing when fighting a demon and Spike is the only one she can hear. I think it had Angel in it. And I'm sure that it was on this site

Deaf Buffy

There's a fic that I remember, but I can't seem to find. Buffy is deafened (by a demon, I believe). Giles hires Spike to help her. Riley is still in the picture for a period. Spike and Buffy end up bonding. I also remember something to the effect that Buffy yells at everyone because Spike learned to communicate with her while they...talk at her? (Sorry, it's been awhile). She can also "hear" Spike I believe.

I think it is Ashlee's fic you are looking for too, I love that story. I think Whispers in the Dark by spikes_slayer08 is set S2 where Spike finds Buffy in the bathroom raped by Angelus.
