I'm frustrated because I remember a lot of details about this story but not the title or author. Buffy ends up moving to England where she buys and renovates Spike's old childhood home. After she moves in she finds a vampire living in the shed in the back yard. The vampire is scarred and has complete amnesia but since he doesn't seem to want to hurt anyone and saves Dawn from a vampire attack she takes him in the house and nurses him back to health. Buffy calls him "Bob" for lack of any other name. Turns out the vampire is Spike, resurrected after the battle in L.A. He eventually heals and he and Buffy begin to gradually renew their relationship. Would really love to read this again, so I hope someone knows the title or author. |
