I think this is a pretty old fic - Buffy is dead or sick, or somehow needs to be saved. It's a one-shot. In order to save Buffy a number of people need to step into a circle and say they love Buffy and why. Oz is there. Angel does it. But they all do it separately, so no one sees them. The lost person is Spike.

Maybe Slayer Retreat Read with caution because this is Angel implied in a big way! Slash you could say and parts where there is Angel/Buffy. I wasn't too keen on this story, except it was funny in parts. That not so much! AND it's not about saving Buffy.

But I think the story description you are looking for is Gillian's Slayer series. It isn't too long either.

Thanks for suggestions, but I think I might be explaining it wrong. I think Willow of Giles makes a magic circle outside of the high school, and everyone has 'till dawn to go in, by themselves, and say that they love Buffy and why they love her (maybe). This was before anyone knew that Spike loved Buffy. It's also a one shot.

I think I remember this story and I'm about ninety percent certain I read it on Bloodshedverse, but I can't remember any more detail than that.
