So, my brain triggered a piece of dialogue from a FF and I cannot place it. It's definitely an older story, I'd thought it was CousinJean or Ginmar's Affinity but I can't seem to find it.

The scene is Buffy and Spike fooling around and as Spike starts to move down her body, Buffy questions him, asks him what he's doing. And he replies sarcastically, "I'm making a telephone call, Buff."

Any help?

Aaand it was Ginmar's Affinity but the line was "I'm making a collect call, Buff."

So, uh, solved that for myself. But hey, huge rec for this fic. It's unfinished but still completely worth the read.

It looks like it's finished on All About Spike.

It is. Affinity was one of the first fanfics I ever read way back in the day, long before Buffy ended, and it was finished at the time.
