I just finished rereading Affinity by Ginmar and wondered if anyone could give recs for similar post resurrection fics where Spike helps with the financial problems Buffy is having. Cheers.

I read a really good one the other day but I can't remember the name. I've read a ton of them lately. Maybe I can jostle someone's memory. Buffy is stressing out and When Spike questions her about it he lets her know that he has already paid off the mortgage and has a trust set up for her and Dawn. It's set up through a lawyer at Wolfram and Hart. Dawn comes in and When Buffy tells her about it they both hug him and he says his rep is destroyed. I ll try to find it for you if no one else can think of the name.

I think I read one once where Spike pays a mortgage payment or some bills and Buffy assumes it was Angel calls him to thank him but he obviously has no idea what she is talking about. I can't remember which that was either.

Just finished re-reading Hero's Reward by: pfeifferpack. Great fic or that catagory. Great fix in general.

Was it that one where Spike leaves and gets his soul then goes to Giles and convinces him to give her money and say it was from Angel? And I don't remember the name off hand but I do remember Spike coming back after Warren shot Buffy and Tara. Buffy's in a coma and the Scobbies think Spikes presence will help her.

Please if anyone remembers the name let us know I would love to read that fic again.

The only story I can think of with Buffy in a coma is The Body by Spikesheart. But I think that was set around S4, I don't think I have read the one you're describing, but I'd like to of course! .

The one I was thinking of all I remember about it was that when Buffy found out she had been given some money she assumed it was from Angel and rushed off to ring him and obviously he didn't know what she was talking about. I don't remember any other events/context for that one unfortunately do it is probably a stretch for someone to remember the scene.

Oh, Spike had left prior to "Seeing Red" and during the tome frame of "Normal Again" Buffy's normal is her and Spike married and living in Sunnydale with Hank and Joyce.
