I think it's alt SSN 5/6. Tara gets possessed by a trickster God reminiscent of Coyote. Later the Scoobies call the same god to possess Spike to find out some info. All kinds of gods start showing up in Sunnydale because something big is about to happen. That's all I can remember. Any help is appreciated!

I remembered some more details. The god/demon/whatever that possesses Tara does so in a cemetery. It likes to drink a lot and gets Tara drunk. Later, when they call it to possess Spike it demands alcohol in exchange for info. At some point B&S have sex in a crypt in the cemetery while various gods/whatever watch. This is driving me crazy, I've searched every way I can think of. If anyone knows this one, I'll forever be in your debt!

This is the only fic I can think of where Tara is possessed.

Ive always loved Egypitian mythology and so in this story we see an being eons old testing Tara's purity while Buffy is finding it difficult to grasp the concept of Shakespearean poetry. Will Tara find her strength? Will Buffy find a tutor who won't make her feel stupid and when she does, will she like him? She will when she finally gets to know him...or should I say, the man he used to be? The gods only know. Oh and after I posted this story I realized that I hit the wrong season. THis is season 5...sorry.
