Buffy Spike and Giles have to meet up with a group of demons and they have a party. Some sort of drink is used and Giles gets very tipsy.
Spike doesn't let Buffy drink too much though. Buffy and Spike are together.

Sounds like a scene in Dreamweaver's Changes, which is the sequel to Her Way.
