Buffy and Dru Demon fights

I'm not sure exactly what happens but I'm pretty sure Buffy gets a letter, I can't remember what it says. Spike is dead and Buffy goes and finds Dru. She's locked up being used in demon fights, Buffy stays with her and they really bond. Spike had come back and was with Angel, pretty sure they might have got them out? It's all way fuzzy. I'm sorry I wish I could remember more
