I'm looking for a fic that I've read a couple of time but now can't seem to find it anywhere. I thought it had the words "robot love" in the title, but am having no luck with my searches. The minor subplot of the story had to do with the Buffybot being sad because Spike didn't love her, and we learn, after a Spuffy ending, that the Buffybot has her own happy ending, complete with her very own robot Spike. I think the fic is either post series or alternate season 7. I'm fuzzy with the details of Spike's return, but he starts out living with Xander again, and then somehow becomes Buffy's nursemaid when she injures herself and is laid up for some time. During this time, Spike is seemingly detached and Buffy resorts to watching Passions so she can make him watch TV with her. When Buffy is recuperated, Spike moves out on his own (I think) and gets a job as a host at some restaurant, and eventually begins dating someone. He starts writing and decides to go away for a while to think things over before coming back to presumably start a life with the new girlfriend. Buffy realizes she is losing him and visits the girlfriend to try to get his address, under the guise of returning a book to Spike. After leaving and watching the girlfriend deposit some mail for Spike in the dropbox, Buffy punches a hole in the dropbox and steals Spike's mail. She goes and finds him wherever he's at and he rejects her at first, and she's left out naked in the rain. They do get together in the end, though.

No, it's not Wacky Adventures (thanks, though!) I'm fairly certain Spike has his soul in this one, so it's either post series or alternate season 7. I lean towards the latter because the Scoobies are still around and I assume they are in Sunnydale, although I do seem to recall a snowball fight scene. I also recall Buffy overhearing a conversation between Spike and the Buffybot where she is declaring her undying love and he tells her she is a thing and she can't love him. Willow feels bad and has to keep tinkering with her.
It's frustrating because I can usually remember a piece of dialogue specific enough to search on, but not in this case.

Yes! That's the one - thanks! I guess I was off about "robot love" being in the title, but Xander does have a line in prologue where he calls the bots' relationship a "weird, twisted robot love"
