Post/During NFA, Spike in LA/Hell

LA has been sent to hell post-NFA, like in the comics. The scene I remember has Spike, who is starving and in really bad shape, fighting off a demon to save someone. I think the person winds up dying there in the street and Spike considers drinking their blood but becomes sickened by the idea. I *believe* Buffy and maybe a team of Slayers are in LA-hell also, and Buffy is looking for Spike.

Summary: Post NFA. The battle with the Senior Partners has ended but L.A. remains a sealed-up wreckage infested with demons. Spike spends his days in a state of hopeless exhaustion, ruminating on the day when his suffering will finally be over. Meanwhile, a certain Slayer is called in to safeguard the lives of the survivors, poising herself to rid the city of its afflictions. Two wounded creatures of love and loss, reunited at long last.

Thanks so much, Skipper! That's the one. I couldn't find it because I kept searching for fics I'd marked as "read" and for some reason I stopped reading at chapter 13 on December 15, 2015. It was still on my bookshelf. Weird...
