I'm looking for the fic where Buffy meets Spike when she's a kid and she wants to be a vampire but turns into the slayer. There's a scene where it takes place in season 2 and she apologizes to Drusilla for using her to stop the vamps from killing the wannabe vamps.

is this a story where spike finds buffy like... hiding in a house he and dru just ransacked/murdered everyone in and dru maybe... brings buffy to spike as a prize and wants to eat her but spike says no?

No, but that does sound like an interesting story. I believe it was when Buffy was a little girl and she runs into Spike who told her his story. When he leaves she grows up researching Spike and his family, wanting to be one of them. Then she becomes the Slayer and runs into Spike during School Hard.
