POE 2 Trial of Chaos: Farm 1000 Divines in 50 Runs with U4GM

Thirty-room Trial of Chaos runs are one of the strongest repeatable farms in POE 2 after the 0.5 rework, but only when your character can finish reliably. The route combines steady POE 2 Currency with Soul Cores, Fates, gems, and a rare Adorn Jewel payout. The real edge comes from controlling modifiers, reducing travel time, and valuing ordinary returns separately from the big prize.

Are 30-Room Trial of Chaos Runs Worth Farming

Full runs matter because clearing all 30 rooms secures all three Fates and opens the Trial Master encounter. Ending at room 10 or 20 gives up the part of the run with the highest reward ceiling, so shorter clears don't fit this strategy.

A 50-run test returned more than 1,000 Divines in total value, but that headline needs context. One Adorn Jewel sold for 729 Divines and accounted for most of the result. Once that drop was removed, repeatable rewards still worked out to roughly 48 Divines per hour with the tested setup. That's the number I'd use for planning. The jewel is upside, not expected wages.

Which Inscribed Ultimatum Should You Use

Start with an Area Level 80 Inscribed Ultimatum. Reward modifiers and rarity bonuses can improve the run, yet the best-looking option isn't always the correct pick. A failed room wipes out far more value than a slightly weaker modifier costs.

Blood Globules, elemental turrets, Drought, Lethal Rare Monsters, Pyramid Beams, Shielding Monsters, Stormcaller Runes, Toxic Monsters, Val Omnitec, and Resistant Monsters can be reasonable choices depending on your build. Pyramid Beams feel far less threatening with Corrupted Blood immunity. Treat your modifier pool like a build check: favor conditions you can handle repeatedly, not ones you survived once with good luck.

Which Trial Modifiers Should You Avoid

Damage Defenses, Escalating Damage Taken, increased Monster Speed, Petrification Statues, Reduced Recovery, Reduced Resistances, Volatile Fiends, and Time Paradox deserve extra scrutiny. Their danger changes with your defenses, recovery, movement, and damage profile.

Petrification paired with Time Paradox is particularly unpleasant because restricted movement and defensive recovery can overlap at the worst moment. Bleeding also becomes costly during a long run, so carry a Staunching Charm unless your setup already has a dependable answer. The right selection isn't the option with the highest theoretical reward. It's the option that keeps your completion rate high across an entire session.

How Do You Clear 30 Rooms Faster

Travel time is the largest avoidable loss. After completing a room, use Escape, respawn at the checkpoint, and re-enter the Trial. This places you back into the progression flow without spending as much time on elevators or backtracking.

Standard clears can take around 30 to 35 minutes. Efficient checkpoint resets can cut that to about 20 to 25 minutes. That saving matters more than squeezing a little extra loot from one room because it increases the number of complete Trial Master attempts you can fit into a session.

Should You Continue at Rooms 10 and 20

Choose Continue Trial at both reward screens. Taking the early exit breaks the full reward cycle and removes your Trial Master attempt. During later rooms, watch for wagers that add another reward or double one already pending.

Divine Orbs, Chaos Orbs, Greater Chaos Orbs, and Perfect Exalted Orbs are natural wager targets. Late offers can be tempting because more value is already committed, but don't let one appealing multiplier push you into a modifier combination your build can't support.

What Loot Should You Track After Each Run

Count more than raw currency. Soul Cores, all three Fates, Fate fragments, high-level skill gems, Annulment Orbs, Vaal Orbs, and Exalted Orbs can form a large share of normal returns. Some Soul Core variants may be worth several Divines as market prices move.

Record multiple sessions rather than judging the farm after one clear. Also avoid building around Head of the Snake solely for the Trial Master. In the cited testing, its additional Unique effect didn't produce a second Unique from that encounter.

Final Thoughts

Trial of Chaos works best as a consistency farm with a rare premium payout attached. Use Area Level 80 entries, keep a personal pool of safe modifiers, reset through checkpoints, continue at rooms 10 and 20, and price every meaningful drop. Most importantly, calculate your baseline without the Adorn Jewel. Then reinvest part of your POE2 Currency into defenses or damage that shorten clears without making them fragile. Consequently, your next step is simple: run a measured session, log the ordinary returns, and decide from your own completion rate rather than one spectacular result.
